Gynaecologist & Endoscopic Surgeon

Research

Associate Professor Cooper is actively involved with research into endometriosis. His unit has recently published striking data whereby a simple endometrial biopsy may diagnose endometriosis without utilising a laparoscopy. Research Paper

The unit is currently working on a urine test to enable diagnosis and are hoping this will be available before the end of 2010.

If you would like to make a donation to assist this valuable research, please contact A/Prof Cooper directly.

If you are having surgery with A/Prof Cooper you may be asked to be involved in some clinical research. There is no necessity to do so and whilst you are unlikely to benefit directly from this research, A/Prof Cooper believes others will do so in the future.
